How does booking work?

Pick your courses or services, enter your details and send the booking to us on WhatsApp or by email. We then confirm the institute, batch date, fee and documents with you.

Do I pay on this website?

No. There is no online payment on this site. We confirm everything with you first, including the full fee.

Is Sea Tech Services part of DG Shipping?

No. We are an independent service provider, not a government office. We help you with courses and DG Shipping processes, and decisions rest with the Directorate General of Shipping and other issuing authorities.

Can I join after 10th standard?

Yes, through GP Rating. You generally need a 10th pass with about 40% aggregate, 40% in English, and to be aged about 17.5 to 25. You must also be medically fit. Rules vary a little between institutes, so send us your marks and we will check.

When should I renew my CDC?

A CDC is valid for ten years. You can renew it on expiry or within one year before the expiry date.

I lost my CDC. What do I do?

File a police complaint and keep the FIR copy, because you need it to apply for a duplicate. If it was lost at sea or on board, an official logbook entry is needed instead. Message us and we will guide you through the rest.

How often do I need refresher courses?

STCW certificates such as PST, FPFF and AFF need refresher training every five years. Send us your certificate dates and we will tell you what is due.

Do you guarantee a job at sea?

No. We help with training and documents, and we do not promise placements. Be careful of anyone who guarantees you a ship in exchange for money.
